I had a very intense feeling dream last night that involved some of Thirty Seconds to Mars's imagery and meeting Tomo. I know that there's been a dream thread before, but I'm studying dreams and dream travel right now, and this one really stuck in my mind so I felt the need to talk about it.

I was in an expansive and very technologically advanced communal society. All the buildings were huge and conical shaped, crafted out of some kind of white metal. Painted on the outside of some of these structures were the Glyphics going from top to bottom in huge figures Inside these buildings was kind of like being inside of a supermall, in that there were stairs and escalators everywhere and abundant people walking around.

A girl dressed in Echelon gear ran up to me and said "Oh my God Michael, Tomo is coming up to see you!" Then Tomo comes up the stairs dressed completely in white, and talks to me briefly. I was completely in awe of him in the dream, and didn't know what to say. He had a position of greatness in the society, and it was some kind of great honor that he even came to talk to me. His voice sounded exactly like I've heard it in the interviews, adding to the realism of the dream.

Well, the Echelon is kind of a community, that I feel part of. I've wanted to meet the guys for years so badly, and my chance has been blown once again because I can't make it to their Everett performance with Audioslave. So this dream might my way of coping with it, by being part of a society in which 30STM are Gods, and I have been given the honor of speaking with one of them. This isn't the first dream I've had in which 30STM symbology was involved, just the most intense one.

As far as my dreams re: 30 seconds to mars I had a beautiful dream of Jared. It was the best dream ever!

As far as other dreams go I also have a lot of symbolism in my dreams and one night I saw a monkey figurine and some one told me that if I put the monkey in one of my night stand drawers that I would come into some big money. Not to long ago I dreamed of a Dragons shadow that I actually saw on the wall. I also dream in color vivid color. I know some people only dream in black & white. Some of the stuff I dream amazes me I wonder how my mind conjured things up. I have also dreamnt of inventions.. Dreams fasinate me thanks for this post!

Yeah, dreams are a crazy thing. I've had dreams about people I've known, imaginary landscapes, sex, Egyptian Gods, cannibalism, vandalism, demons, childhood, violence, intimacy, flying and so on. The trick is picking out all the different elements and finding a coherent meaning in them.

That's not nessesarily a bad idea, because there's always this risk of missinterpreting your dreams, and then reaching a point where you cant trust your own mind and impulses.

I had my first 30STM dream after reading this post!!! lmfao

It started out in a dream I'd already had before (I realize now that I have quite a few reoccuring dreams). At the end it started to change to include Jared, Shannon, Tomo and Matt. XD Tomo and Matt were around but mostly in the background (awww..poo). There were a ton of us in this museum type house and we were all sitting down singing a song about Shannon to him. Then Jared comes to sit down with us all and this biatch runs up to him and kisses him, full mouth. Instead of being shocked or happy or upset he just smiles at the rest of us and tells us to spread the love. So he kisses the girl next to him on the other side, and .....the entire large group of people who were there just started kissing everyone. XD

It was fucking hillarious.

Alright, I will do my best. I was a psychology major and spent an entire year devoted to dream analysis. So here goes...

The surrounding atmosphere being large and white with the symbols on the building symbolizes your feelings of the world of 30STM being a large part of your life. It could also represnt you feeling small in it (hence not having met the band or been to a show yet.)

The escalators and stairs everywhere represent a path or way for you to achieve your goals and all the people wandering around are easily accessing them letting you know the path is available to you.

The importance of Tomo.... dressed in white. White usually represents purity and light, it can also represent a great importance. Is Tomo your favorite in the group? Him wanting to speak with you in such importance out of the group may signify your feelings that it is your turn to meet the guys. You have heard so many stories that you feel it's your time. Tomo time and time again has been percieved as the sweet, gentle, and quiet yet intelligent one of the group. Maybe this factor plays a roll in the fact that Tomo was the one to see you.

I could be wrong, but that's the way I preceived it.

Thank you for that interpretation. I think you hit it on the head there, because your description captures a lot of my feelings. I don't exactly have a favorite member of the band. I know that Jared is the main musical mind, but I view all the members of the band as the same entity. In my subconscious though, Tomo may seem the most accessible. 30STM's world is a huge part of me and my life, and I knew there was something significant about Tomo's wearing white.

It's all a big puzzle really. I just enjoy existing in the pieces.

i too have had my share of 30stm/echelon dreams. 3 to be exact. strangly enough, 1 of those was last night.

I was sitting on the steps of Headliners (one of the last places i saw them) and i'm looking at pictures on my camera (for some odd reason it was after the show, but it was daytime) and Shannon walks up to me and asks if he can look at them too because he saw me taking pictures during the show. I hand over my camera and he was in awe of the shots i had. then ask me "do you have a job?" and i looked at him oddly (tihs was an out of body dream btw) and the conversation continues:
me: "yea, but i hate it"
shan: what is your dream in life (funny, he mentioned me dreaming lol)
me: *holding up camera* taking pictures at concerts
shan: then i'm about to make your day...
then he took me to their bus and announced "i've found our new photographer!!!" and everyone is excited... then my effin alarm goes off and i throw it across the effin room

i hate those dreams. this isn't the first "you're going to get to live your lifes dream" dream that i've had.. and it's definatly frustrating to wake up and go to work

oh neato thread, I had a dream about 30stm last night.. the person who stood out most was Tomo.. in it he was a lot more personable than others.

.. the night before I had a dream about the lead singer of green day.. it's odd 'cause my dreams usually don't include anyone 'famous'
