So I would imagine there are some peeps here hitting up the show at the Rose Garden on Tuesday, right? I couldn’t be anymore pumped about this show than I am right now.
I initially seen the band when I caught the final two dates of Lollapalooza in ’03 (Seattle and Portland) and was immediately hooked. I was a big time fan of “Capricorn” when it hit radio airwaves at their debut, but never bothered to further explore them until the live gigs. Needless to say, as soon as I returned home the next day, I picked up the album. I also had no idea Jared was the vocalist, but knew him as an actor, LOL!
I’ll admit I’m still having to adjust to “A Beautiful Lie”, as I immediately fell for the band’s hard-edged, layered sounds of the first album (which will likely always be my favorite), but I support this band in their evolving, no question.
I love to write so I’ll be among those producing a good review for y’all after the gig. I’d love to get pictures, but I’m not sure how that’s going to break down given the major gig with Audioslave at the Garden. We’ll see though.
I was actually planning on skipping this show entirely until I found out 30STM was going to be there. They’re the ONLY reason I’m going!

Posts for meeting up with other Echelon should be in the Echelon section. There is already one for the Oregon/Washington dates.

My apologies...
Also, I don't see why not...we could meet up somewhere. I'm all for meeting up with fellow fans from the Echelon!

I know they're playing as an opening band at the Audioslave show, but in looking over the SF show last night, I'm concerned about only getting to hear 5 or 6 songs. I mean, especially if there's practically nothing from the first album, which I find to be extraordinary. I sincerely hope they play a few more songs and perhaps more of a mix between both albums. Because again, they're the only reason I'm attending this show.
However I'm glad to see that despite it being a larger show with other big bands, they're still meeting up with us afterward!
