From what I've heard, it seems like all the fundraisers are gonna be in Texas. New Orleans is destroyed, so I'm gonna say no. Only because I was supposed to be there that weekend for a wedding and now we're flying into Baton Rouge and the wedding is there. Estimates are that nothing will be going on in there (people rebuilding/moving back) till Mid-November timeframe according to the news.

Austin! That's awesome!! I already bought tickets, so that would be very convenient.

Unless they can turn their tour bus into a private jet, it's unlikely... they're in Canada during that whole weekend.

They are in NY on the 29th and MA on the 31st so they have the 30th to be at the Voodoofest it is kind of a drive but it is for Jared and Shannon's home town so hopefully the can go!

yeah I saw that as well and they are posted on the voodoo site as going - that is quite a hall from NYC to Memphis (isn't that were voodoo is held now) and then back to MA?
are they really doing that?

They are still listed on the vodoo website as part of the lineup. I emailed everyone that had an address up on that site to find out 100%. But from what I've read on that site and the shows myspace page it sounds like the lineup was confirmed again after the show was relocated just about a week ago. So it's hard to say one way or another yes it's a long trip definatly would have to be by plane but also I'm sure it's very important to Jared and Shannon and they are still listed as performing so hopefully it's not a mistake that they're going to be there ecspially since intermission and I and mabye a few others already have tickets.

The Voodoo Fest website does say that there may be some adjustments made in the coming weeks. I'm crossing my fingers that the band keeps this on their schedule.
If you guys do end up going, whether 30 plays or not, will you let me know? I have tickets and am going to do my best to get there. Would love to meet up with you all.

Well I'm pretty sure the tickets are already ordered so unless we can get them sold on ebay or something if 30 doesn't play then I will definatly let you know what our plans are once we're in memphis it's always fun to get the echelon together.
