Just to make it clear your favorite singer doesn't have to be in your favorite band

I know I'm gonna get attacked for this but I love courtney love's voice, not her new stuff but when she was in Hole its great I love that scratchy thing she has going on

I also like billy corgan's nasaly voice and kurt cobain' scratchy voice

Jared sometimes has a cool scratchy voice like on hunter

And I second that. I also love the way Jared sounds in Revolve.

Of course, the greatest vocalist ever: Maynard.

Also I really enjoy: Pete Loeffler (or whatever his name is from Chevelle), Scott Weiland.. and um... Johnny Whatshisname from Ours.

Jimmy Gnecco...and yes, his amazing control over his voice is something to behold.  Best vocalist in my opinion, hands down.

Jared, of course. I also love Harry Connick, Jr., Frank Sinatra,  Florent Pagny, Ricardo Arjona, Tarkan, and my father among others smile.gif
Yes, it's quite male-dominated on my favourites. Sorry. As far as the females, I would say Celine Dion. I especially like her French songs. Oh and Tarja Turunen.

oh man that sucks. I used to be a really big fan of Nickelback, but all their songs started to sound the same and Chad for some reason always annoyed me.
