Hey my wicked story ok it's dumb, but i gotta tell

So I went shopping with my kid today, decked out in my red 30STM shirt, jeans with a white studded belt and maroon Docs..

Went to the mall, no one noticed my shirt. I watch people like crazy to see if anyone has any iota of recognition on their face, which they never do.

Went to a discount store in the rain, dragging my son behind me. This dude gets out of a cab outside the store and proceeds to hold the door for us so we could get outta the rain. I thank him.

As I am about to walk away to browse the racks, he's like "I really like your shirt." I was stunned a little, but answered "Thanks, you're the only one who knows who they are that I have seen." He answers, "They have a new album coming out sometime soon..." ME: "August 30th". He's like "Damn!! I can't wait." I answer, "I've heard it, it totally rocks, you should get it. I am!" He's like "Ok cool" and walks away muttering "August 30th, August 30th" like he's trying to memorize it.

WOOHOO! YOU GO GIRL! I keep meaning to wear my shirt, but I havent gone any wear puls its too hot..Im a coward.

I went to see them play on AUG. 6th in Jax beach, FL I got the new "A Beautiful Lie" girl's shirt.... it also has Tomo's signature on it... I never want to wash it I would be so upset if it faded... biggrin.gif

i always wear mine and no one knows who they are. hopefully one day i'll also run into someone who knows and likes them.

i guess i'll keep wearing in and wait for that day to come.

Tomo has the best signature out of all of them.

And I have my Echelon bracelet signed. I wish more people would recognize it. They just think that I am a communist.

heh i kinda have the same type of story
i was in washington d.c. during easter in the subway and this kid walked in front of me with the red hoodie on this is the first time i've ever seen anyone with 30stm gear on besides concert and my girlfriend when she randomly borrows my hoodie so i was like whoa interesting....

Yeah I wear my 30stm shirt whenever I travel, considering no one around me knows who they are(im working on it). I am desperetly hoping someone in a different state while recognize them...no luck yet. dry.gif

I kinda feel cool walking around w/ their stuff b/c its like only I know who they are and if only everybody else could see, or hear them...

I have the red echelon braclet that you can wear everyday, and it's a great way to promote the band, because everyone and their dog (including that scary, ugly one in your avatar TransForMars) always asks about the glyphs and I get to tell them about the band. My wife hates it though and compares me to a "teenie-bopper" following around some band and trend. I tell her to go listen to her gay ass N'Sync and Britney Spears . . . usually works.
