SDC is a gritty, street drum exhibition. SDC's show is a mixture of street drumming, experimental percussion and audience participation.

Bobby Alt (S.T.U.N.), Adam Alt (Circus Minor), and Frank Zummo (The Start) started Street Drum Corps in April of 2004. This “brotherhood of unsung and talented performers” (Las Vegas Callback Newspaper) creates a show that is “well-choreographed” (OC Weekly) and exciting to watch. SDC uses instruments such as buckets, kitchenware, recycled aluminum garbage cans, satellite dishes and fire extinguishers.

Are they sure 30stm is included? Did they replace NEW TRANSIT DIRECTION?
and for those last dates ticketmaster lists The Used & Alexisonfire with Underoath and Guests.
Oh and Tonga are you going to the Sept 23rd show at the bluebird in Co?

I haven't heard from Tonga yet, but I will definitely be there. We should organzine a group for that show too.

Funds are pretty tight right now guys, so I am not sure if I am going on 9/23 or not.

I live 6 hours away. So, I would have to spend the moola for tickets, gas to get there and back and a hotel room and I am not sure I will be able to justify it all and it is feckin' tearing me up!

I will keep you posted though.

As far as the SDC, these dates were just announced on Sunday, so I am not sure on the logistics. I just know that they will be on the tour at the dates you see in the links above.

PROXEN - Yes, Bobby and Adam were cut from amazing cloth. I don't know many people as nice as they are.

Ahh finally found this thread! Tonga and I both have a long way to drive, we’re still deciding..
I was planning to fly to Denver to see Santana the 27th so will have to go a week earlier and don’t wanna be without my car that long so will most likely drive.. It’s over 900 miles Grrr.
I really want to be at this one, the band all agreed that the last show there was the best!

I really hope you guys can make it out. I will probably be going by myself. My friend that went with me to the last show is probably going to punk out and say he can't go because of school/work/whatever. Anyways, let me know what you all decide.

I might consider it if I can find a piece of carpet (or whatever) to crash on for a couple of hours before I have to drive home to NEB. The cost of lodging is really holding me back. Can anybody help? I promise I am an upstanding citizen and not a psycho clepto or anything -- smile.gif Let me know and I will think hard about trying to make it work.

Well, I might be able to help you out. I live on the north end of town, 120th to be exact, so it'll be pretty convinient. There are just a few things requirements I have.

Credit Report
Driver's License Record
Criminal History
Blood Sample
Urine Sample
Deposit fee
Travel Fee
Loging Fee

(P.S. I am just kidding about the requirements.)

Thanks so much Maria! That is great of you.

I am just really torn. I think it isn't going to happen. The more I think about it, the more spending the dough to go doesn't make sense. Damn conscience.

And literally five minutes ago, I found out I owe $353 on a medical bill from last month. HOLY SHIT BALLS!

I think I am going to be tapped out.

I have well over a month to decide, so I will keep your offer in mind, but both of you don't wait on me to make any plans of your own.

I should just move to Denver. I am there about once a month anyway for one concert or another.

GOOD NEWS IS: I WILL DEF. BE IN COLORADO SPRINGS!! So, we should make the most of that show.

Coredelusion -- wish you could be there as well. sad.gif
Someday, we will get to hang.

Well, just keep us in the know. biggrin.gif I really enjoyed the concert at the Bluebird because I could get close to the stage w/o feeling trampled, unlike the arena one I went to. I am hoping to talk my friend into going with me again, so we will see.

Anyways, see you in the Springs. Only 9 days to go.

Maria

Just want to emphasize how amazing these guys are. So very talented and some of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. I swear when you're talking with Bobby or Adam you feel like you've been best friends forever.

Adam and me in Dallas

Aww.

Makes me smile.

I was so disappointed when the Colorado Springs show was cancelled. I haven't seen Bobby in about 3 years! I was so excited to get to see his face when I talked to him instead of a computer screen. sad.gif

I am glad you all get to see what amazing people they are!
