Okay, my good people, it was a long time in coming but I finally finished my patented review from the May 24 show. I even have my pictures from the show for your viewing pleasure at the end of the review, as always. Here are excerpts from my review and some picture samples. The link to my full length review is at the end of this post. Enjoy!

QUOTE
Shannon’s drum playing was primal, powerful and riveting; the speed, the rhythm, the powerful force. He is an animal! When he started playing shirtless in the middle of the set, his arm muscles rippled with every powerful beat of his drumsticks. He slammed on those drums like there was no tomorrow, sometimes even jumping out of his seat from the sheer force of his rhythmic pounding. His whole heart and soul went into every beat. You could not only hear him, you could FEEL HIM. Go Shan Shan! WOO!!!

QUOTE
Tomo came dressed in layers, sporting a jazzy dark shirt over a gray one. He topped off the outfit with sporty slacks adorned with semi-reflective vertical stripes running up the sides of the legs. Sharp!

QUOTE
Matt was dressed all in black. His sleeveless shirt showed off an elaborate oversized heart tattoo on his left arm and more intricate tattoo designs on his right one. He made a dashing figure as he rocked out with his badass guitar!

QUOTE
As always, Jared added his personal unique signature flair and immaculate style to everything he wore and coordinated. He was wearing blue jeans strewn with patches on the front and back of the thighs, and red suspenders, which he had dangling nonchalantly around his legs. One of the front patches read: “It’s the Art Noiz Band” in red letters. Over the jeans he wore a red shirt with oblong black stripes over the front. He completed the ensemble with a beautiful black smoking jacket. Smokin’ indeed, baby!!! He cradled his beloved custom made McSwain white Pythagorus, which he strummed in accompaniment to his singing.

QUOTE
Jared’s powerful voice, which is as achingly beautiful as the singer himself, soared like an angel. He touched one’s heart and soul with its perfection. The band’s music live, just like the singer’s eyes, is hypnotic and entrancing. It fills up the room with its power, intensity and sweetness and consumes one’s heart and mind. It sets a mood, an atmosphere which surrounds one and sucks one in. It’s simply magical. I was sad to see their performance come to a close.  I could have watched and listened to them all night.

A BEAUTIFUL TIE!!!

My own original design. Modeled here by Chelsea (he is male!!!)

Beautifulie, the cat is real, although he does looked stuff at times. lol

Tommy, my sweet angel, yes, it's A Beautiful Tie, isn't it? ha ha ha

Pauline, thank you, baby. Well, Chelsea is considered a female name but I think it suits a cat well, even if he's male. Cats love seafood and the sea part in the name just grabbed me and I like the sound of the name in general.

Here are more cool pictures (the signed debut CD is from past shows but I never shared it directly on the boards until now):

The non-ABL album collections are from 3 years ago, baby. And I worked hard on lovingly acquiring every single item. wink.gif

Pauline, don't worry. You never know, the band may just pay you a visit one day. smile.gif

Thank you kindly, my good soul, for your kind words. Thank you to everyone who posted on this thread. I am about to share my FULL LENGTH review. I will post the link soon.

J's sig says simply "Jared". He wrote it on another one of my single CDs which I sent to Anne in France as a surprise gift 3 years ago (she uses the SN Annette but I haven't seen her post in ages). He said he made a mistake, he meant to just do an arrow. So of course, I wanted him to write "Jared" for me too and I asked him to please write Jared again and he caved. lol

Stassy, you are right. I am very lucky. There are times when I feel that I should be doing more with myself and my heart feels bad. But during moments like this, when I see the band, for example, I feel like I have been blessed. I always say that meeting them for the first time was the happiest day of my life. I actually cried when I read your comments to me. Yes, I am blessed. It's important to count your blessings, even the little ones, because Lord knows we all have our trials and tribulations in life and it does seem hard to go on at times.

(btw, Christian, I felt really bad about standing in line next to you guys at the Irving Plaza show. I thought we were all friends and it wouldn't be a problem who showed up when. I won't bother you guys next time. I am all inclusive but, unfortunately, not all people are like me)

Here are some pics of the cool fans from the show. Maybe some of you will recognize us:

Well we were there from about 1:30/2pm on to make sure we got in front to see the band.. I am pretty short smile.gif But to be there for so many hours in the sun etc (it was all worth it) and then have another person come up at almost 7pm and cut in front of everyone behind us was awkward, I think you are nice but we only met that one time, I thought we'd say hello sure but I was suprised- and no one asked you to not stand with us once you did. Other 30stm people were arriving and getting in line behind, none of those people asked to come up with us, and the people not so far back from us had been there a few hours too. I would have never come and put myself in front of all the people who had been there for hours even if it was someone I met at another show once before. Nothing personal and like I said no one asked you to leave once you did come over and stand with us and you then left your bag with us and went off meeting people and taking pictures, I mean I guess I am just different but I just never would have done that myself so I guess its just me.
