Would love to see Apocalptica.. but they never are here when i am able to go.
Christopher Hall (stabbing westward vocalist) has now started a new band called the dreaming http://www.thedreamingonline.com if you didn't already know. They got a 4 song EP out already. Pretty cool.. but def not stabbing westward.

I'm not counting bands I've seen live at shows like the MMVA's (MuchMusic Video Awards, Canada'a video station) because I didn't actually pay to see them, and most of the acts I wouldn't pay to see.
I have a really bad memory.... I've seen tons more (15 yrs of concert going) but my mind is mostly blank right now.

You've got some great shows on your list. I love The Stranglers, The Damned, Dead Or Alive, Siouxsie (The QUEEN!). What years did you see The Boomtown Rats and Generation X (that right there is so amazing)?

Oh a long time ago - late 70s, I was way too young, but I didn't care. I used to go to a club in Covent Garden called the Roxy and hang out with everyone every night, miss the last bus home and hitch or walk!
http://www.stereosociety.com/body_theroxy.html
Oh I missed out the Sex Pistols. How could I forget them??!!! Saw them somewhere in Kilburn. The Jam, Sham 69, The Clash. So many.
I saw the Boomtown Rats in some college gig in Hemel Hempstead. Everyone threw plastic toy rats on the stage. Blondie I saw at the Roundhouse - the foam came off her mic and all the guys up front told her what she could do with the mic in its new form. The Police at the Rainbow - it was Christmas Eve and Sting wore a Santa Claus outfit. Dead or Alive I saw many times, I vividly remember their date at the Dome in Brighton and breaking three toes by someone stomping on me very hard.
The Damned... there was a pub in Islington, can't remember the name, but they played downstairs in the basement. Dave Vanian was so cute, and so nice.
All those bands were. Reminds me of some others guys we're quite fond of. They all cared for their fans too. Guess that's why I remember some of them so well. fond memories. We never took cameras, we never asked for autographs or anything, we just had fun.
Oh and Billy Idol (actually he was still Billy Broad to me back then!) was so hot!

Thanks you sharing all of that!!! It all really is exciting to me. I'm 36 and that is all of the shit that I listened to as a teen. All of the Punk and New Wave coming out of
England was so amazing. I also loved some of the (REAL) Ska bands too (The Specials, The English Beat) I loved it ALL. I ADORE The Jam. I still listen to it all as if it was released yesterday
