Yup, saw them twice, and a third time coming up. Great live show. they are playing with SOAD in an arena next so it won't be the same as their club shows...

They're okay, but the fans are pretentious assholes. To call a band genius for tacking on 3 minutes of feedback to a song and then ignoring bands like Sonic Youth proves some people don't know shit about music.

They aren't pretentious assholes. Mars Volta fans are simply smarter than most people, have a better taste in music than most people, dress better than most people, and can dance better than most people.

all opinions in my book. They are pretty geeky though, but I think that they make some pretty cool music all-in-all.

Are you going to the ACC show? If so, I will be there too, managed to get floor tickets

. I have never seen Mars Volta live before, and I do like their sound so I am pretty excited to see them. I heard they are good live. Also super excited to see SOAD live again, its been too long since the last time.

i like em but sometimes cedrics voice gets really annoying
i am more of an at the drive-in person
that and cassandra geminni's 30 minutes gets old after awhile

but the the jew selling tar out of ice cream cart to people was kinda funny even thats prolly not what happened....
