A year ago (2-21-05) was the last time (to our knowledge) that 30 seconds to mars played live. A freaking year. It's been too long.

What a fantastic show it was.

I miss you people.

I was thinking about that today. Looked through my journal stuff on it, pictures, set list, etc. Driving 26 hours to get there. Standing in the cold and rain for hours. Getting into arguments with people in line. Peeking through the door to get a glimpse of Mike during the soundcheck. Myth - it was beautiful. Where the Streets Have No Name. The strings accompanying the band. Adapt, situate, seize victory. Seeing so many Echelon in one location. Still one of the greatest weekends of my life.

Wow a year, I still remember how amazing those three shows were. Especially the intamate Coach House gig. The roxy was simply magical.

Odd it is, that just today I mentioned in another thread, to Kazza, the memory of the Roxy show and "Streets". Not once, until now, did it occur to me the significance of the date. Yes, the goddamn rain...standing inside after such long arduous anticipation! Funny that it came together today.
And, I just made a trip, a week or two ago, to L.A. Not for the exact same reason, and was honored to find and be with my friends again for a few precious days....yo...speaking of...shout out to ya ladies for the radness and to those who made the trip all but perfect timing!!!!!! Perfect spin!!!
Thanks there Sir Spron for pulling my day and thought together.
Good times. Ahhhhhh...30 on U2.......

The Roxy, yes. I was soaked and frozen and so completely happy. smile.gif Those who were there would know, I wouldn't stop bouncing around. Haha. It definately has been too long. And I definately miss the feeling of being in a crowd of echelon. Beloved members, for sure.

It will happen again.
I wait for it!

2-21-05 was yesterday dude... laugh.gif

Seriously though, Wish I was there. It's been well over two years since I've seen them live. Think it was November of 2002 with Sevendust that I saw them last. They need to come back out here! And I know they will this summer.

that vacation was truly a memory I am not soon to forget and I can't wait to come back down there when they play again. I too was freezing in the shirt I wished I wasn't wearing as soon as I got out of the car. and the bruises I had on my legs from the 300+ people on my back. and also being nearly knocked out by the girl next to me while rocking out! I can't wait for more fun times! SOON!

I miss the family! because we truly are a family!

Yeah, remember when we were waiting outside and you said something incredibly racist and then looked around? Ha haha ha ha hahaha! And then when we were walking around Santa Barbara and we ate at subway and Kristina was bleeding from every oriface when I threw her into the salty ocean and she screamed about how much it burnt? And when I met Vanessa at that hooker store? And that snazzy umbrella? And, you know, other various things that I can't talk about?

ah, the hooker store.
By the way, Aaron, my car misses you. Never has someone handled my car in the raining insanity like you did.

Yes. Remember when we drove through Beverly Hills and that car was flipped over out of no where? That was kind of freaky.
