this is probably a very touchy topic to discuss but i was talking about 30stm with my friend ashel and she said that when she went to see incubus and 30stm opened, everyone boo-ed and threw cans and bottles at them. i told her i could never accept this as a fact. did anything like this happen at any other concerts where they opened?

just reading that makes me want to either cry, or kill the people that booed them off the stage. mad.gif

That's ridiculous. How could they get booed off the stage? It just doesn't make sense to me.

(this is me saying "i know, right?!") i felt emotion that i cannot even categorize and i wasn't even there. I'm sure if i looked, i probably have a white patch of hair now. (that is me being traumatized)

It's probably not true. I'm sure it would've been posted already. A lot of the fans here who have seen that particular show, would've said something.

That happens often, mainly to the fresh new groups or performers that are still unkown and in this case since most of the people came to watch Incubus they wanted to see them so I think that's the reason, I doubt it's because they didn't like them.

i agree ! Supporting acts have to face that even if it shouldn't happen... but there are always people like that.

Not all bands get a welcoming when opening with a very different style of music than the "headliner" smile.gif Its all part of paying dues!

Wow if i was at that concert and that did happen, i'd be causing some ruckus! I'd be taking swings at all those people who boo'ed them off. Personally, I think 30STM is SOOOOOO WAYY MUCH BETTER than incubus. Buts thats just me...

even though it sounds like this couldn't possibly happen to 30stm, i believe my friend. also, you have to take in account that it was here in fucked up washington where most people don't really care about music and just want to sound cool by saying they went to a concert.

I never understood ppl,who is boo-ing watching the supporting bands play.Even if it is not what u would like to hear at least respect the band's tryings,& don't think that u can jurge them.and ask yourself a question-Would u play beter?
